"Era così bello!" Si dice "It was so beautiful" o "It was such a beautiful day"? Entrambi significano "così tanto", ma so e such seguono regole diverse. La differenza sta in cosa viene dopo: un aggettivo da solo o un sostantivo?

Usa so quando l'aggettivo o avverbio è da solo, senza sostantivo dopo.
SUCH + (a/an) + Aggettivo + Sostantivo
Usa such quando c'è un sostantivo dopo l'aggettivo. Con sostantivi singolari contabili, aggiungi "a" o "an".

SBAGLIATO: "It was so a beautiful day."
SBAGLIATO: "She is such beautiful."
CORRETTO: "It was such a beautiful day." / "She is so beautiful."
SO non va mai con "a/an". SUCH non va mai senza sostantivo dopo.
