Come rispondi?
Regola d'Oro
| Forma | Struttura | Esempio |
|---|---|---|
| Affermativa | Soggetto + am/is/are + verbo-ing | She is working. |
| Negativa | Soggetto + am/is/are + not + verbo-ing | She isn't working. |
| Interrogativa | Am/Is/Are + soggetto + verbo-ing? | Is she working? |
Quando si usa?
1. Azioni in corso adesso
3. Piani futuri già definiti
Per appuntamenti o programmi già organizzati.
Come si forma il verbo -ing?
| Regola | Esempio |
|---|---|
| Verbi normali: aggiungi -ing | work → working, read → reading |
| Verbi in -e: togli la -e e aggiungi -ing | make → making, write → writing |
| Verbi in -ie: cambia in -y e aggiungi -ing | lie → lying, die → dying |
| Verbi CVC (cons+voc+cons): raddoppia la consonante | run → running, sit → sitting |
Errore Frequente
SBAGLIATO: "I am agree with you."
CORRETTO: "I agree with you."
| Categoria | Verbi |
|---|---|
| Emozioni | love, hate, like, prefer, want |
| Pensiero | know, believe, understand, remember, think (opinione) |
| Percezione | see, hear, smell, taste (involontari) |
| Possesso | have (possesso), own, belong |
No! Ecco perché "know" non va al Continuous.
